Steve Jobs Biography In The Running For Best Business Book Of The Year

Walter Isaacson's biography of Steve Jobs, written with his full cooperation before his death is one of six candidates in the eight annual Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year award. The book has been selected for its ability to provide compelling and enjoyable insights into modern business issues.
The finalists include Why Nations Fail: The Origins of Power, Prosperity and Poverty by Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson; and The Hour Between Dog and Wolf: Risk-Taking, Gut Feelings and the Biology of Boom and Bust by John Coates.
The winner, which will be announced in New York City on Nov. 1, will be awarded $48,749. Each of the remaining shortlisted authors will receive $16,198.
