Google has just earned the patent for screen unlocking using eye tracking information. Which means, when you do get your hands on a pair of augmented reality specs, you could be accessing them with just an eye roll.
The patent describes how your eye would following a moving object, and in probably in some kind of pre-determined pattern. The patent applies to a wearable computing system, which sounds a lot like the Google Glasses. Too bad we won't be seeing this sort of tech anytime soon. [USPTO via Engadget]
