Sharp has announced that it is shipping screens for the new iPhone this month, and it looks like the dates we've heard of earlier in the rumors seem believable.

Sharp's new president, Takashi Okuda, said that "shipments will start in August" at a press conferences this morning.

If the rumor pans out to be right. the screens are going to be 4 inches on the diagonal, with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
