Apple has just got a patent for a predictive text keyboard on mobile devices that will automatically increase the size of touch targets without actually do so visually. Sounds great! In this patent dug up by Apple Insider, the concept sounds confusing but the execution actually makes sense.

The concept of it is that the keyboard quietly enlarges the radius of the trigger zone for the next possible letters in succession. It doesn't visually tip you off, because does it really matter? It's smart and predictive text has got you figured out already. It's got your back.
