Google+ has at least one redeeming quality to it: Hangouts. And they're going to become more widely available. Google announced that its rolling it out to video chats in Gmail.

It makes sense integrating products together. And the best part of it is that you don't have to be a Google+ user. You can gab with your pals from Gmail on their browser or on their iOS or Android device. Hangouts can now accommodate up to nine people at a time.
