Apple and Samsung have been dealing blows in court for a long time already. This time, Apple has succeeded in banning the sale of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 across the entire Europe because it was found to have infringed on Apple drawings that date back to 2004. Samsung has issued a rather sensible statement:
"Should Apple continue to make legal claims based on such a generic design patent, design innovation and progress in the industry could be restricted."
