There used to be time, not very long ago, when Facebook started to make everyone's birthdays forgettable. Once everyone started relying on Facebook to 'remind' them of their friends birthdays, Facebook made it even easier by letting you wish them on a tiny window on the top right, without having to leave your front page.

Now they're doing the same to your friends' engagements and weddings. Soon, announcing your plans to wed or wedding event will be as non-exciting as liking a post. Ho hum. And we're sure Facebook isn't going to stop there. We foresee them adding your anniversary date, birth of your children and their birthdays, and all sorts of other things that will prompt your Facebook friends to congratulate or wish you without much thought.
