For example, a size 9 Nike GS boot weighs 5.6 ounces, which is heavier than a five-ounce iPhone and a full ounce less than Nike's next lightest boot, the 6.7-ounce CTR360 Maestri II FG. Nike said it achieved the lightweight design with a material called "Pebax Renu" which is made of 97 percent castor beans.
