The Verge is reporting that the App Store is offering up some corrupt apps for download, and supplying updates that are buggy which create the tendency of crashing as soon as they're launched.

Apps like Instapaper, Goodreader, PDX Bus and Angry Birds Space HD Free have all be displaying the problem. Could there be more? Mac apps are also reported, though SmartReporter, a Mac App has been observed to appear and quickly rectified.

Developers from GoodReader have explained that "the problem stems from an encryption issue on the App Store side, resulting in customers receiving binaries that iOS refuses to launch." Better don't update any apps till Apple's fixed the issue.
