The Like button is extending its reach. In a blog post, Facebook describes a change to Open Graph introducing a new like button that developers can put in their mobile apps, which will post the like to Facebook as well.

For example, take an Instagram pic, and like it and it will show up on Facebook as a notification. So now, you're able to publish the notification to Facebook from your app. Can you opt out of this? Is there an option for it?
