The USPTO has awarded Google with a patent on an "integrated finger-tracking input sensor device" for Google glasses. That means there'll be a trackpad on the side frame of the glasses, which presumably lets you control them with your fingers and not just your voice or eyesight.

The patent spells out cases such as tapping, scrolling, and more, with the trackpad but it doesn't specify how this will work in tandem with anything else Google Glasses controls. [USPTO via Engadget]
