Leatherhead Food Research group has a recipe for the healthiest meal in the world. The group whittled down thousands of nutritional studies until they were left with just 222 studies and used that to come up with a serving dish.

Then, they built up a menu for a three course dinner, which ticked as many of the health-giving boxes of their findings as they could manage. Check out the course by course as follows:
Fresh and smoked salmon terrine; high-fiber multi-grain bread roll
Chicken casserole with lentils and mixed vegetables; olive-oil dressed mixed leaf salad
Live yogurt blancmange topped with walnuts and sugar-free caramel sauce
It sounds healthy. But is it tasty? Perhaps. I wouldn't mind giving it a go. Omega 3 fish oils are good for cholesterol, while protein is good for muscle mass, and walnuts "contribute to the improvement of the elasticity of blood vessels".
