Logitech has turned a mouse into a gadget capable of more functions than just the typical 2 or 3 buttoned PC navigator. They've added a total of 20--yep, twenty!--programmable buttons to their G600 gaming mouse, which probably won't make any sense to non-gamers.
Some 12 of the buttons are strategically placed on a curved keypad on the side of the mouse, and with its G-Shift functionality, they can all serve double duty.
The mouse is of course designed and targeted at MMO gamers who live by shortcuts, and the custom configurations are actually stored on the mouse, so wherever it's plugged into, it'll work.
Its $80 price tag may not appeal to the average PC user. But those buttons are backlit and can go through 16 million colors, making this navigator a tiny disco in your hand. Indeed, it puts my 4-button Logitech mouse to shame.
