Here's a clue that suggests that some of the soon to be announced Macs will feature Retina display. This app that appeared in the Mac App Store boasts "Retina graphics".

The latest version of Folder Watch, approved by Apple and in the Mac App Store, claims one of its new features is Retina Graphics. Could there be at least some OS X devices getting Retina displays? Chances are yes.
