Facebook is rolling out file sharing for groups today, and it will allow you to share files of up to 25mb. So no worry of pirating anything there. It'll be useful for the average Facebook user who just wants to send someone a file.

But of course, there are tons of other services which let you do just that. Ge.tt allows you to send a link to the file even before it finishes uploading. Then there's YouSendIt, and Dropmark and a few more.
