A global sting operation by Interpol resulted in dozens of alleged Anonymous members being arrested in a global clampdown. Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Spain. The arrests were carried out by national law enforcement officers around the world.

The suspects were aged between 17 and 40 and the Telegraph reports they are suspected of planning coordinated cyber attacks against institutions. Some of which are Columbia's defense ministry, and presidential websites.

Along with the arrests, over 250 computers and electronic devices were seized. [The Telegraph]
