Not everyone has a green thumb. And watering plants can be tough to remember. Want to do it automatically? Instructables user randofo's Arduino powered system might just be the trick.
The project is pretty tricky, and big, but the end result is a system that keeps your plants watered and alive with almost no work on your part. It uses a bunch of cheap Radioshack parts, and has a toggle, water pump, battery power and a few relays.
It's easy to setup and radofo's Instructables is pretty clear and easy to follow. Check it out in the video after the jump.
