Kids text more than they call these days so Hallmark thinks that this might just jive with them. They've created these wristbands that allow kids to exchange simple ten character messages. They're cheaper than a cellphone but are they convenient at all?

There's no keyboard, touchscreen, or voice recognition, which means, messages have to be spelled out using just tthree sets of buttons. And they're also limited to ten characters and encourages kids to use shortforms.
