Most people don't know what a water ionizer does, but Tyent's new 9000T, comes with a touchscreen display and can make your water more healthy than it already is. Water ionizers adjust the PH level of the water coming out of your taps, making it less acidic and alkaline depending on how you need it.
Ionized water claims to have smaller molecules that are easier for your body to absorb, and that makes it better for drinking while exercising. And alkaline water is supposed to contain antioxidants, which absorbs extra errant particles bouncing in your body that can increase the risk of cancer.
The ionizer is not the limelight of Tyent's new model, but rather the touchscreen interface, which looks like an iPhone strapped to the faucet. It's got audible descriptions explaining its functions and a color coded guide for the current PH level of the water and a simple blue/red LED indicator for the temperature as well.
But sexy design comes with a heavy price tag. It'll cost you a cool $3,000 to install this. [Tyent]
