Canon's $15,000 EOS-1D C might not be very affordable, but it doesn't mean we don't want it. The camera could possibly jump start a new wave of incredible 4k filmmaking. Check out the video after the jump for the first taste of it.

Downsized to 1080p per Vimeo's requirements, it shows what the DSLR is capable of doing. You can view the full 4k file via EOSHD, but even downscaled it's pretty awesome.
