Android: Here's an app that will let you make your phone obey to your commands with the flick of a wrist, that brings your volume controls or contact list depending on which direction you flick your phone.

One limitation is that there are currently only two available widgets to take advantage of the four directions, a volume control menu and a contact list. More options are in development but the two available functions are pretty useful.

The app is free with ad-support.
