Technologist Ellen Sundh has designed a belt that will inform the wearer when he or she is slouching. Certainly, something a lot of people need badly. Because have you taken a look around at most people? Their postures are bad!

The belt functions as a way to simply to correct poor posture and avoid health issues that arise from not sitting up straight. (Do read our other articles on the dangers of sitting and how it's killing you too).

Bad Posture is fitted with a bend sensor, Arduino board, a Wave Shield and a push button. When the sensor detects when the back is arched or straight, the desired position can be set with a push of a button to calibrate the belt. If its too much of a hunch, the Wave Shield lets the user know with a verbal cue. Hit the video for more.
