
You can only imagine this sort of furniture if it were built by the Flinstones. But old is new and new is beautiful. Called the Holzbank bench it was made by German designer
Thomas Schnur and itlooks downright primitive.
Schnur leaves the wood unvarnished so that its natural color shows through. It's larch wood, which is has been the source of Siberian log cabins. And the legs, are just roughly carved logs. Each bench is hand-made and takes eight weeks for delivery from Outdoorz Gallery.
A piece of this would set you back $500.
