There's an inexpensive and clever way to move your video camera around. Just use furniture sliders under each tripod leg. As demonstrated in the video after the jump, it works pretty well.

There's some shakiness in some of the shots, which might be fixed with shorter tripod legs or adding some weight to the tripod. Still, its a good and cheap DIY solution.
