Its admittedly hard to remember stuff sometimes. Especially when it comes to things like names, lists, and other things. Add them to the list if you can. This video here is of Nelson Dellis, USA Memory Champ, and he demonstrates how to do just this by using an example list of random words.

These kind of champs use a technique of creating pictures out of words and weaving them into a story. Granted if you're a creative sot of person, this would work for you so easily.
