Sci-fi fashion you say? The designers at LumiGram have their new safety vests out, and its been given a modern spin on the gear for guards wearing them as they protect street crossing children. The fabrics are battery powered and are made up of super thin optical fibers woven in with other synthetics.

The fibers are connected to LEDs, which shoot light throughout their lengths, giving the vests an eerie glow. Its also good for joggers at night, bikers, and more.
